FEED delaware

In the City, For the City

FEEDdelaware exists with the basic commitment that no one in our community should go hungry.
Matthew 25:35 “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in…”

2nd & 4th MONDAYS 6-8PM
Utilizing a Drive-Thru, guests receive weekly shelf-stable groceries, fresh produce, frozen meats, and household goods. We also offer diapers, personal hygiene items, and cleaning products upon request. Prior registration is not needed-simply come and we will make sure you are cared for. If you have special living conditions or dietary needs, please let one of our volunteers know and we will do our best to accommodate.

When guests arrive we strive to provide a warm welcoming environment. In addition to practical resources and a place of connection, we have a prayer ministry team that offers the opportunity to receive prayer to each guest.

  • Shelf-stable Groceries | Peanut butter, canned fruit (packed in water or juice), canned vegetables and beans are frequently used and helpful donations. We receive non-expired and undamaged shelf-stable items to ensure the quality is given and the health of our guests.
  • Donation Drop-off | Bring donations during our office hours between 10 am-2 pm on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday, during Sunday Service (10:15 am) or by appointment. If you have questions or want information that is not listed, please let us know by completing our CONNECT CARD

"In the City, for the City!" is the phrase you will hear us use often to communicate where we focus our mission. In its simplicity, it communicates purpose, mission, location and hope. The City of Delaware should be a better place because the Delaware City Vineyard exists. And yet...We know that we are one part of the big picture and we are able to care for our City through partnering and featuring other places and space of care.
